About the Event

It is no secret that relationships and connection with others are vital to a rich and rewarding life. Is it also well known that there are many challenges we face in relationships with others.  There is the pain of connection, that comes when those we love suffer and we empathize with their suffering. There is also pain when the people in our lives disappoint us and do not meet our needs. By fostering compassion for yourself, you are better able to manage the pain that inevitably comes with caring for others and are more able to respond with more resiliency. The result often is stronger and healthier relationships.


During this workshop we will explore the concept of compassion for ourselves and others and how it can strengthen all kinds of relationships. This workshop is designed to be hands on and interactive with guided meditations, group discussion, and guided reflection activities.
